The electronics need some work as the neck pickup needs some futzing around to stay on, and when you're strumming, if you hit the tone knob, it'll cut out.įrom my research on the web, it's a 1990-1991 KR660 by the info I found on a wiki page. It has a coil tap for the humbucker, and sounds pretty nice. Put it back together, string it up, and tuned it up. There was a few scratches and mars I hit with the wool as well, then guy it with rubbing compound and got the body pretty nice. The gold hardware was pretty tarnished, so I hit it all with fine steel wool. I took it home and took everything but the neck and electronics off/out.

She said it was her grandfather's and it's been in the case since he died and was given to her. It was a bit of a drive, but not horrible. I offered $50, and got a sure message almost instantly. The picture was from behind the bridge showing very little. I took a guitar apart years ago to paint it, and I needed to take it somewhere to get out back together, so a cheap guitar could help me learn. I was blowing off time on Facebook marketplace and thought I could use a practice guitar.
